That was a shocker about Bill Ash...he was a funny and good guy...
always a bundle of energy...so much so that we used to have to
ask him to settle down. Roger Barnes writes:
"When I hooked up with Bill at our 25th Class Reunion he
said he got out of the music business because it was too uncertain.
He had a business of his own in Houston and had recently invented
a beverage dispensing device that he had a patent on. He was
a smart talented guy but I felt it a shame that with his talent
he had not stuck with the music. I was also struck that
he had not changed at all over the years...he looked the same
and had that same old energy and spark that others on this site
have mentioned. He was just a nice guy....a good guy, who never
looked down on anybody. We shall not see his like again."
