Mike - Musician and WebMaster Early and recent photos   Welcome! Thanks for stopping by. I spent nearly 25 years in the music business as a guitarist in the Texas area. During that time I had the opportunity to work in countless bands performing in countless clubs and touring circuits. What a time that was! Notable SA bands included Meadow in my high school years , to CBS records prospect band OVERLOAD, to bands such as RENEGADE and HOT CHEXX in the 80's & 90's. And countless other bands in between. Over time I have had the privilege of sharing the stage as warmup act with the likes of: The Guess Who, BadFinger, Tina Turner, Wet Willie, Trapeze, Ruby Star, Van Wilks, Johnny Van Zant Band, and many more. I consider myself extremely lucky, honored, and humbled to have had the chance to have a crack at the golden ring. The inspiration for this site came from the many fond memories of my band days and for the need to honour the memories of all the fellow players, Bands, performers, and friends from over the years past and present. These days I stay busy working in and around the Dallas Metroplex where I live with my wife Barbara. I hope I can give you a smile and a great ride down memory lane with my tales of the Texas band scene. Have a look around and enjoy your stay.
