MARIUS Talks .......

Who's who.....

For drums we use Dreeban a lot. (I didn't realize you were in a band with him...) You know, for several years (16 I think) Dreeban had the drumming gig at Cornerstone Church. .................

Another drummer that is very good is a guy named Bobby JArzombeck. He was in a band called Riot for several years and recently got the drumming gig with Rob Halford from Judas Priest. I think they are touring Rob's new record right now.

Another great drummer from SA is Mike Kennedy. He is GEorge Strait's drummer. Sometimes we can get him to come in for a session. He was in the band "Blackrose"

For bass, we like a guy named Jim Kalson. He comes from a family of talented musicians.

For background vocals we use Mike Grothues (Heyoka) or Paula Thompson.

I recently finished albums with the Danny Cowan band (very popular on the MP3.com blues charts). Also did a CD for a band called "Our Religion" -

The leader of that band is named Rick Swanson. He had a band called "Nightwork" you might remember.

I love going to work everyday and playing with the stuff. I do mostly CD projects - not many jingles or music for commercial advertising. (I did a lot of that at UAR).

Currently I am working on an album for a guy named Jody Jenkins (modern C&W). His father is one Bobby Jenkins -popular singer in the '60s, '70s, '80s in San Antonio. You may remember him. In 1968 he had a huge regional hit called "Who'll Be The One" - at this time he called his band "Rob London and the Rogues". (I guess Rob London sounds cooler than Bobby Jenkins).

For guitar and fiddle we use this monster player named Bobby Flores (you may also remember him).

See ya,

MArius
